Check electronification solutions are our primary focus

Following the 1999 introduction of the payment industry’s first low-cost, digital imaging, check reader for Electronic Check Conversion (ECC), RDM introduced in 2000 the industry’s first ASP-based (Application Service Provider) image archive system, which supported the demand for image-based ECC at the point-of-sale.

In 2003, RDM introduced its Image & Transaction Management System (ITMS) to specifically address the needs of financial institutions and corporations that have legacy check processing infrastructures and want to take advantage of the efficiencies of check electronification technologies, which include ECC, Check 21, and Image Exchange.

Currently, ITMS is the preferred platform by which financial institutions provide check electronification solutions to their corporate customers for drop box, walk-in payments, lockbox, and retail merchant check electronification.

RDM Is a trusted industry partner

RDM has been a trusted provider of solutions for the check processing industry for over nineteen years, and has been providing check electronification solutions for the last six years. RDM has proven itself to be a reliable partner that has continually provided thought-leadership around creating innovative solutions to the various payment industry challenges arising from check electronification and implementation.

In 1998, the United States Treasury selected RDM as their partner to design, build and install their ECC platform. Their solution, known as “Paper Check Conversion” has since been successfully rolled out to over 1000 U.S. government agency locations around the world.

Today, a significant number of financial institutions’ merchant services and treasury management groups, Independent Sales Organizations (ISO’s) and payment processors use RDM’s solutions to support their check electronification offerings.
