DOUGLAS (DOUG) NEWMAN
Chief Executive Officer & President
Doug Newman was named President and Chief Executive Officer in October 2001. It has been under Mr. Newman’s leadership that the Company has grown from a respected leader in quality assurance solutions for financial documents to acknowledged industry leaders in document scanners and remote deposit capture solutions. This market position has been gained through his belief and insistence that product leadership and operational excellence are essential to providing long term customer value and loyalty. Prior to being named Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Newman served as the Company’s’ Chief Financial Officer from April 1996 to May 2001. He began his working career at Coopers & Lybrand where from 1979 to 1986 he provided financial and taxation services to a wide variety of businesses including several multi-national corporations. Mr. Newman received his BBA from Wilfrid Laurier University in 1979 and he received his Chartered Accountant C.A. designation in 1982.
JAMES (JIM) MERWIN
Chief Financial Officer
Jim Merwin is the Chief Financial Officer at RDM Corporation, and is a member of the RDM senior executive team. Jim has over 25 years of experience in financial and operations management. From 1993 to 2004 Jim served at freight and logistics company Mayne Logistics Loomis Inc., which was acquired by DHL Express (Canada) Ltd. in 2003. At various times Jim held the roles of Chief Financial Officer, Vice President Operations, and a member of the Board of Directors. Jim has also been a consultant and has worked at Price Waterhouse as a Senior Audit Manager. Jim is a Chartered Accountant and holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Wilfrid Laurier University.
GRAHAM HEIT
Chief Technical Officer, Vice President of Product Development
Graham Heit is the CTO and Vice President of Product Development at RDM Corporation, and is a member of the RDM senior executive team. Graham has been with RDM since 1998 and has been a primary leader of the development of RDM’s payment solutions initiatives. In addition to Product Development, Graham also oversees RDM’s Operations group. Prior to joining RDM, Graham held a number of progressive positions at NCR Corp, and was deeply involved in NCR’s ImageMark initiatives, NCR’s flagship product offerings for large scale check processing. Graham has over 20 years of experience in solution architecture and development, specifically within the check and document automation industries. Graham holds an Honours Degree in Computing and Electronics with secondary focus in Business Administration.
DOUG FISHER
Vice President of Sales
Doug Fisher is the Vice President of Sales for RDM Corporation, and is a member of the RDM senior executive team. He has been with RDM since 2001 holding various sales positions including Channel Manager and Sales Director of Digital Imaging Solutions. Mr. Fisher has been instrumental in developing key customer relationships during his tenure at RDM. Prior to joining RDM, Doug held a number of sales and marketing positions at NCR Corporation and RR Donnelley. He brings in over 18 years of sales and marketing experience from the digital imaging industry. Doug earned a BA in Economics as well as a Master of Business Administration from Wilfrid Laurier University
MICHAEL (MIKE) MURPHY
Vice President of Product Management and Marketing
Mike Murphy is the Vice President of Product Management and Marketing for RDM Corporation, and is a member of the RDM senior executive team. Prior to joining RDM, Mike was Vice President of Marketing at Transaction Network Services (NYSE: TNS). Mike’s prior experience includes increasingly senior roles at Fortune-100 consumer packaged goods companies Procter & Gamble, RJR/Nabisco and Mobil Oil. Mike has over 25 years of sales and marketing experience. Mike earned a Master of Business Administration from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College and has a BS in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from the University of Maine.
TONY YANG
Vice President of Business Development
Tony Yang is the Vice President of Business Development for RDM Corporation, and is a member of the RDM senior executive team. With over 20 years of business development, sales and marketing experience, Tony has worked for a number of international hi-tech companies including Fortune 500 firm. Most recently, Tony was the Vice President of Business Development (International) for Altton International with responsibilities for global business strategies, partnership & business development and sales & marketing. Tony obtained a MBA from Wilfrid Laurier University and a Ph.D. from University of Strathclyde.
