2009

  • Launched Synergy Deposit RDC application to reside on the RDM SYNERGY II payment terminal
  • Announced Simply Deposit Mobile, an RDC applicable on BlackBerry and iPhone to capture checks
  • Introduced the EC7500i series check scanner, the industry's first low cost check scanner that includes an integrated receipt printer & magnetic stripe reader
  • Announced PA-DSS Application Validation for the RDM SYNERGY II All-in-One Payment Terminal
  • Launched the RDM Express Exchange Maintenance Program, full service product maintenance, extended warranty and advanced unit exchange program.

2008

  • Launched Simply Deposit web-based RDC application specifically designed for small business customers
  • Introduced RDM SYNERGY II, the second generation of RDM’s all-in-one payment terminal, a fully featured, dual-sided imaging capabilities for a complete Check 21 solution
  • Announced the support of MICR CMC7 font for international applications on the EC7000i & EC6000i series of check scanners
  • Launched MHX software giving the MICR Verifier MH the ability to communicate with to the GTX software Launched the Image Design Verification Software which to allow check designers to test their background designs before they send them to print

2007

  • Partnered with Epson America to co-develop the CaptureOne batch scanner powered by RDM MICR technology

2006

  • Launched ITMS WebClient web-based RDC client application for corporate customers
  • Introduced new connectivity options for the RDM SYNERGY payment terminal offering maximum interface capability
  • Introduced the MICR Verifier MH 14 standalone tester with the ability to manually adjust the MICR read head to read a check anywhere on an 8.5” x 14” page

2005

  • Introduced the EC7000i Series imager offering a feature rich, low cost, two-sided imager for low volume e-Check applications
  • Partnered with Lasermax Roll systems to sell and install the In-Line MICR Verifier

2003

  • Announced that the U.S. Treasury with the assistance of RDM has instituted its Paper Check Conversion (PCC) program
  • Introduced its Image & Transaction Management System (ITMS) to facilitate the electronic deposit and settlement of payments received by paper check
  • Introduced the EC6000i Series check scanner setting the standard in small document imaging
  • Introduced Synergy for multi application POS payment platform, the industry’s first all-in-one payment terminal to process all non-cash payments
  • Introduced the In-Line MICR Verifier to work in a roll-to-roll / fold printer without having to cut the paper web. Combined with a PC, it uses the GTX software functionality

2002

  • Launched the MTS Program, a comprehensive service designed to evaluate laser produced MICR documents to insure compliance with ABA/ANSI standards

2001

  • Introduced the MICR Qualifier GTX to make MICR testing easier and allow for upgrades to quality control features to assist those printing MICR documents

2000

  • Introduced the MICR Verifier MH standalone tester with the ability to manually adjust the MICR read head to read a check anywhere on an 8.5 ” x 11” page
  • Introduced the industry’s first ASP (Application Service Provider) Image Archive System to support the demand for image-based ECC at the point-of-sale

1999

  • Selected by the U.S. Treasury Department to build its check conversion system

1998

  • Introduced the Checksheet using the VIP platform with the MICR Qualifier GT software
  • Introduced the EC5000i Series a small footprint document scanner for checks conversion

1997

  • Introduced the Image Qualifier IQX97 to comply with the new ANSI Standards X9.7

1995

  • Partnered with VIP in conjunction with Deluxe Corporation to develop a MICR tester capable of testing up to 20 checks at a time on a single sheet
  • Introduced the MICR Qualifier GT designed to comply with the new MICR standards from ANSI X9.27 and X9.13

1993

  • Introduced the OCR Qualifier designed to test OCR A and OCR B characters to ISO standards
  • Introduced the Easy Check low-cost MICR signal tester

1992

  • Introduced the Multi-Check Verifier capable of testing three checks side by side
  • Introduced the Image Qualifier for testing check backgrounds providing PCS and reflectance measurements

1991

  • Introduced the MICR Verifier standalone MICR tester
  • Partnered with Xerox to develop a custom MICR Verifier for Xerox customers
  • Launched CMC7 software for the MICR Qualifier and MICR Verifier to support check technology in the United Kingdom to test CMC7 MICR documents

1988

  • Introduced its first MICR quality control product, the MICR Qualifier combined with a PC to scan and test E13B MICR documents
